Robyn Everist, Director

Robyn Everist, MBA, BA (Hons), Dip Ed consults in a range of areas including learning and development, change and leadership, human resources and project management. Her interest is on improving organisational effectiveness and maximising the potential of all employees.

Robyn has worked in private, government and community sector roles. For over twenty years she has focussed on training and developing people and designing and implementing innovative strategies to maximise the support of people within organisations. This has led to strong expertise on key topics such as change management, interpersonal skills and other employee proactive and developmental interventions.

Robyn spent four years as a consultant to the Ford Motor Company during which time she consulted widely with Executive, senior and line management across several business units here and overseas. She helped them identify development needs, devise appropriate learning interventions and implemented change management strategies. She also supported a major regionalisation project integrating Information Technology employees across Asia, South Africa and Australia.

More recently Robyn was the Human Resources Manager for the Department of Human Services, Barwon- South Western Region, with over 900 employees. This Public Service experience provided Robyn with great insight and experience of State Government policies and processes. As Human Resources Manager she was involved in all aspects of the employee work cycle, from recruitment, advice on entitlements to employee development, performance management, Employee Relations, Occupational Health and Safety and Work Cover.

Robyn is currently a Board member of the Geelong Art Gallery, a Committee member of the Geelong Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) Regional Network and a CAHRI (Professional Member Grade) member and also has Full Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.


Richard Coverdale, Director

Richard Coverdale’s work history demonstrates a high level of achievement in a diverse range of organisational and project management environments both within community sector and commercial settings.

Richard has substantial analytical, conceptual, research and strategic skills which translate to producing innovative and practical solutions. He is resourceful, outcome driven and motivated. His long history in the establishment and management of community based services across the housing, disability, law and agriculture sectors reflect a strong commitment to communities, equity and social justice issues.

Richard’s endeavours include initiating the establishment of the Geelong West Common Equity Housing Co-operative and the Geelong Community Legal Service, the first non-metropolitan Legal Service in Victoria, subsequently being appointed to the position of Manager.

Richard also scoped, established and managed Villamanta Legal Service, a state wide disability legal service, and then Villamanta Publishing Service, a consulting and publishing service in the disability rights/access field.

Richard followed these roles by becoming Director of Publishing for the Victoria Law Foundation where he established a plain language law publishing division of the Foundation. He produced 22 titles and distributed over 1 million publications on various law related topics. His publication, Teachers, Students and the Law won The Australian Award for Excellence in Educational, in 2000. Richard also established Rural Law Online - An internet based legal information service of the Victoria Law Foundation, with over 2 million page views since inception.

Richard has completed a Graduate Diploma in Project Management at the University of New England and is currently completing his Master of Arts by Research, at Deakin University. Richard recently established and is currently the Director of the Centre for Rural Regional Law and Justice, for the School of Law at Deakin University.   Richard is working on a range of research projects with an emphasis on rural and regional justice related issues.

Richard’s history of initiating innovative projects and securing project funding and his breadth of work experience provides a broad and practical perspective to a range of consulting activities.
